Drs. Norman, Obeck & Foy Dentistry is a single-location practice located in Richmond, VA. They are a member of the GPS Dental DSO, and are the 36th of their locations currently using Pearly software. With three doctors under one practice roof, NOF Dentistry provides comprehensive care for preventative, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.

Prior to onboarding with Pearly, NOF Dentistry lacked a modern solution for addressing aging patient balances and conveniently collecting payment.

Since 2023, NOF Dentistry has been leveraging Pearly’s billing workflows to assist in their patient A/R collection–and with significant results.

After coordinating their integration with Eagelsoft and training their staff on the functionality of the new billing platform, NOF Dentistry turned on Pearly and immediately saw a positive return on investment.

Within the first 30 days, NOF Dentistry collected $47k of aging patient A/R and collected 80% of the balances engaged by Pearly during that same period. Seeing these initial results, NOF Dentistry would continue to expand their use of Pearly for their patient billing.

Now after 18 months with Pearly, NOF Dentistry has consistently achieved a rolling collection rate of 96% across all aging buckets, with only newly engaged balances remaining for collection.

NOF Dentistry now uses Pearly to send over 1500 statements every month, equating to 131 staff hours saved or re-tasked to more productive work.

81% of all payments made are within the first 30 days of billing, indicating that their patient base has fully embraced the new payment process.

Pearly also helps NOF Dentistry to collect over $4k in monthly write-off risk patient balances, which are greater than 90 days past due and under $200.

The NOF Dentistry billing team now employs all of Pearly’s primary billing tools to support their patient A/R collection efforts. For larger balances, they offer payment plans via Pearly’s Pay-Over-Time. For aging, delinquent balances, they leverage Pearly’s Letter Automation to send pre-collection letters to escalate their communication.
